August 2022 –
The ACMS celebrated 40 years of the Commodore/Amiga legacy with major assistance of Riley Tipton Perry on the 6th of August 2022.
We are celebrated the 40th Birthday of the C64 over the weekend along with many other incredible Amiga and commodore products. It was a great turn out and a great day of learning about the history of Commodore and Amiga and meeting new and wonderful C/A-philes. June 2022 –
On June 3, the ACMS celebrated Graeme Philipson’s legacy by opening the Graeme Philipson History of Computing Library. The specialized collection in the Graeme Philipson Library brings together key resources on the history of computing in Australia including work by John Dean, Trevor Pearcey, John Bennett and others. It offers a focal point to ongoing research into Australia’s achievements in Computing.
On June 18 The ACMS 2022 AGM was held. President – Adrian Franulovich. Vice President – Riley Tipton Perry. Treasurer – Murray Irwin. Secretary Michael Mulhern. And board members Sebastian Boell (Graeme Philipson Award recipient 2022), Roy Antwah and Joe Lemura retained / entered the board for the 2022/2023 period.
March 2022 – March of the Microbee
This even was a major success with over 40 attendees in person and on our live stream! Thank you to all the attended these incredible and informative sessions to learn about Microbee’s past from Owen Hill, Monte Chan, Craig Southern, Raymon Han, Gordon Rowell and Gerard Hill. The future of Microbee was presented by Ewan Wordsworth. Special thanks for Alan Laughton for his assistance in piecing together this event with Ewan and our team making it a raging success!

October Retrochallenge 2021 – National
The Retrochallenge is a global event. The ACMS Sponsored a grant of $500 for Australian entrants which lead to more than half of global participants being from Australia! Nice!! The grant Winner, Sydneysider computer technician, Shane (ShaneMcRetro) rebuilt and fixed tens of thousands of nested and broken links in a Geocities restoration. Read about his efforts here
May 15/16 2021 – Croydon NSW (Sydney)

2021 Easter Long Weekend – Portland NSW (Central Tablelands)
The exhibit was carried in partnership between the ACMS and the Portland School of Arts. In the vicinity of 500-800 people attended the pop-up location in the Annex of the old Portland cement works, now known as “The Foundations”. The exhibit was so popular that the event organiser has offered a potential opportunity for additional pop up museums at the location.
